  13. The edit that Peter Ho suggested (delete the ";" from the mdmrock.inf)
  14. does work!  Granted, I had to reinstall Windows 95.  This is how I did
  15. it.  Of course, for some, it may be more practical to just insert the
  16. "atm3" into the modem properties/ Advanced...
  17.  
  18. 1) Install Win95 WITHOUT installing the modem.
  19.  
  20. 2) Use a plain text editor, and open the file "mdmrock.inf" in the
  21. \windows\inf\ directory.
  22.  
  23. 3) Do a Search for the string ";"
  24.  
  25. 4) Delete the semicolon inside the quotes, so it looks like this "".
  26.  
  27. 5) Save the file.
  28.  
  29. 6) This step is probably not necessary- Do the same for the file
  30. "mdmrock2.inf".
  31.  
  32. 7) Goto Control Panel and open up the "Modems" icon.
  33.  
  34. 8) Choose add, and click "I will choose the modem"
  35.  
  36. 9) Install the Cardinal Drivers
  37.  
  38. 10) Close everything and Restart Win95
  39.  
  40. That's it!
